With the pressures of modern day life and the demands of constant change in the workplace is  it no wonder that many people suffer from the effects of stress. The Health and Safety Executive definition of stress is ‘The adverse reaction that people have due to excessive pressure or other types of demand placed upon them have defined stress in the workplace.  It arises when they worry that they cannot cope.’

Coaching Away Stress
When we are suffering from the effects of stress we often feel overwhelmed. We can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. Coaching and NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) provide a powerful combination for managing stress. Coaching can help enormously in identifying the causes of stress rather than merely dealing with the effects. It helps you to understand the link between your beliefs, perceptions and how you experience stress. By raising your awareness of the causes of stress you can learn to break the vicious circle of stressful thinking, identifying strategies to take back control of your life. NLP provides a range of excellent tools and concepts to empower individuals to cope with stress. Helping you to feel:

  •      A greater sense of well-being
  •      More self-confidence
  •      Calmer and more relaxed
  •      Able to react to stressful events with greater control
  •      Less anxious
  •      A sense of fulfilment and purpose

Now just imagine yourself this time next year. You’re looking back to how marvellously your life has changed since you were first coached. Think about the things that would have previously stressed you
